What remains local

Files, filenames, meter identifiers, interval readings, bill values and results are processed in your browser. They are not added to page URLs, sent to a calculation server or reported to an analytics service.

The site has no accounts, email gates, session replay, third-party widgets or analytics by default. Fonts and public tariff data are served from the site’s own origin.

What a web host can see

Like any site, the host receives ordinary requests for public pages, JavaScript, fonts and tariff files. Those requests can reveal your IP address and the public pages or utility fragment you requested. They do not include your uploaded profile.

Official source links take you to the publisher’s website when you choose to follow them. That separate website has its own privacy practices.

On the administration page, the email address is requested from this site only after you choose to show it. That request contains no usage file or calculation. Writing an email is a separate action in your email app.

Saving is an explicit action

A project stays in memory until you choose Save on this device. Saved projects use IndexedDB in the current browser profile. They are not synchronized to an account or automatically available in another browser.

You can open a saved project, export JSON or CSV, print a report and delete all My Power Rates projects saved in this browser. Deleting browser projects does not remove files you downloaded or reports you printed.

Shared devices and browser controls

Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to open a saved project. Use the delete function when appropriate. Browser settings, private mode and storage limits can affect how long a local project remains available.

File size limits protect device memory and responsiveness; they are not paid-feature limits. You can cancel processing and start again with a smaller supported export.
